Anton Setiawan, as the CEO of VISTRA Indonesia (formerly Tricor & Vistra pre-merger),
recently participated in the Australia-ASEAN Special Summit hosted by Australian Prime
Minister Anthony Albanese from March 4th to 6th, 2024, commemorating the 50th anniversary
of Australia’s relationship with ASEAN. The summit saw the attendance of H.E Joko Widodo,
President of Indonesia, as a special guest of the Australian Government, alongside leaders from
other ASEAN countries.
A highlight of the event was the Indonesia-Australia Bilateral Business Forum, spearheaded by
Coordinating Minister for the Economy, Mr. Airlangga Hartarto, focusing on fortifying economic
ties and identifying investment opportunities between Indonesia and Australia.
Additionally, the ASEAN-Australia Business Forum facilitated discussions among business
leaders from both regions on enhancing economic cooperation. Indonesian companies such as
Vistra and Tricor Group showcased Indonesia’s potential for growth and investment.
Crucial figures like Indonesia’s Foreign Minister, Mrs. Retno Marsudi, and Minister of Public
Works and Public Housing, Mr. Basuki Hadimuljono, played instrumental roles in ensuring the
success of the delegation, advancing Indonesia’s interests on the global stage.
